Marianne,
We were with your two cute "twins" today. They are fun, creative, and loved. Mia tried to call me mom but realized she'd slipped and we reviewed my name. I told her she could say "Aunt Kim loves me!" but she's not convinced and told me so. She said she was "too hot to try" to say it. That's okay. But it made me think about some things, probably a bit personal for a blog but want you to know how I feel.
I can only imagine that love you must radiate as you pick up a "stranger." Although only a stranger in the sense that your arms are holding him and eyes are meeting for the first time in this life. He must be aware and receptive to the idea that he is to go with you. It's then that something must come to his rememberance, something premortal that reminds him that this person, this beautiful mom, strong dad and adoring brothers are good; this whole experience is heavenly and eternally good. The Lord truly gave you a gift of an oversized heart. And no matter how much love you give to all of your children, you lose nothing but gain so much more. EVERY child knows the love you have for them. And what a joy that must bring to your home and family! We are praying for your safe return. -Kim P.S. say "hi" to Grandpa Rick for us and give him Seely hugs.

Kim,
Way to make me cry! You made my day. Those were very kind things to say. You are right, it IS a pretty spiritual experience for us- it is hard to explain to others but you just about nailed it! I got the strong impression the day before we met Jonah that this would be more of a "reuniting" than a first time meeting. It was, and I cannot wait to raise him and rediscover my son. Thank you for all the help with my kiddos. It has been torture being apart, so knowing they are being loved by family makes me feel good.
Marianne-home in 4 days!!! YEA
